ABOUT US
The Bihar and Jharkhand Association of Alberta (BAJAA) is a registered non-profit organization established in 2023 to bring together individuals and families from Bihar and Jharkhand who have made Alberta their home. Rooted in the rich traditions of these two states of India, BAJAA was founded with the goal of preserving cultural heritage while building a welcoming and supportive community in Calgary and beyond.

Our organization serves as a bridge between heritage and integration. While we remain deeply connected to the customs, festivals, and values of Bihar and Jharkhand, we are equally committed to contributing to the diverse and multicultural fabric of Canada.

Through cultural events, educational initiatives, and community programs, BAJAA fosters connection, pride, and empowerment among members. At the same time, we extend our efforts to collaborate with other ethnocultural groups, ensuring that our work has a wider social impact.
